About the AI COE

Make each team's AI work an advantage for the next.

The Trilogy AI Center of Excellence invests in capabilities that individual portfolio teams have limited time or incentive to build alone. We bring frontier research and scarce specialist expertise into real work, then turn what we learn into tools, evidence, and practices that other teams can use.

Our role is to make AI adoption easier, faster, cheaper, safer, and more capable across Trilogy's portfolio. Each engagement should strengthen both the team we work with and the shared capabilities available to everyone who follows.

What we build together

We centralize work whose value grows as more teams use it. A shared evaluation method, security control, or agent tool earns its investment across multiple products and workflows.

Explore our research
Frontier scouting and evaluation
Explore emerging models, agent harnesses, and techniques. Test them against representative tasks so teams can choose with evidence about quality, cost, reliability, and limitations.
Security and architecture
Develop approaches to credentials, isolation, delegated authority, and system design. Make those decisions reusable so each team can build on a tested foundation.
Observability and reusable tooling
Build the instrumentation, evaluation workflows, orchestration systems, and shared tools that help teams understand how AI behaves in production and improve it over time.
Specialist expertise
Bring focused expertise to problems that require deeper investigation. Capture the methods and findings so the solution remains useful beyond the original engagement.

From a real problem to a shared capability

We engage directly with portfolio teams. Their products, users, and operating constraints give our research a practical test.

  1. Define the problem

Work with the team to identify a concrete bottleneck, establish a baseline, and agree on what improvement would matter.

  2. Prove the approach

Build and evaluate against the team's actual workflow. Test the assumptions, measure the tradeoffs, and document the failure modes.

  3. Transfer ownership

Equip the portfolio team to operate and improve the solution, with the tooling, documentation, and knowledge needed to own it.

  4. Improve what carries forward

Retain and maintain the reusable tools, evaluation methods, and architectural patterns. Feed operational lessons back into the capability the next team receives.
